FAQ
Privacy & Security
Where your media is stored and who can access it
Where is my media stored?
Media proxies are uploaded to secure cloud storage for AI processing and team sharing. Kino plays local files directly when it can.
Who can see my footage?
Only people you invite to your organization. Your work is private by default. Other Kino users cannot see your assets or projects.
See
Teams
for details on inviting teammates.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
Can I delete my media?
Yes. Deleting media removes it from Kino’s servers. Local files on your drive are not affected.
